YOUGC operates a marketplace connecting brands and creators in Mauritius. For privacy questions, contact support@yougc.mu.
2. Information We Collect
We collect account information (name, email, phone), profile data (bio, niche, social handles, portfolio media), private creator details (shipping and bank information for payouts), payment information processed by Stripe, and messages sent through the app.
3. How We Use Information
We use your information to operate the marketplace, match creators with brands, process payments, send notifications you have enabled, provide support, and improve the platform.
4. Sharing Your Information
We share data only as needed: with Stripe to process payments, with other users as required by the platform (e.g., a creator's public profile is visible to brands), and when required by law. Private bank and shipping details are only visible to the account owner.
5. Storage and Security
Data is stored by our backend infrastructure provider with row-level security and encrypted connections. We limit access to authorized personnel and use standard security practices. No system is completely secure, so please protect your password.
6. Your Choices
You can update or delete your profile from the app settings. You can also disable notification preferences in the Settings page. To delete your account entirely, contact support.
7. Cookies and Analytics
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and maintain app preferences. We may use basic analytics to understand app usage. We do not sell your data or use invasive tracking.
8. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
9. Children's Privacy
YOUGC is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the app or by email.
